By the end of the 2022 season, artist Alexandra Kalinicheva finished working on the Armenian Alphabet project. The whole work consists of 39 engravings, as many as the letters in Armenian alphabet. In fact, these are postcard size linocuts. Each depicts a letter and a word that begins with that letter.
Since the main quality of printed graphics is circulation, there can be a large number of prints.
The project was conceived as an aid in learning the language. It is easier for both children and adults to memorize new words when the visual image of the letter remains in memory.
In addition to the original engravings, the alphabet also exists in digital format and can be printed on paper, fabric, or other suitable material.
